Case studiesdeals we can name

Most of what CNKT handles stays private, at the client's request. These are the acquisitions we are free to talk about.

Selected acquisitions

@leverage

Telegram
Not disclosed

A single financial term, held as a Telegram collectible.

One word, no separators, no numbers, and a term that an entire industry uses daily. Handles like this are the ones brands and projects go looking for by name rather than stumbling across.

Because it is a Telegram collectible, ownership sits on the TON blockchain and the handover is an on chain transfer. That is the cleanest category of deal we run: the asset moves in one verifiable step rather than through a release and reclaim gamble.

V3V Ventures

An economics term acquired for a venture firm.

A dictionary word with constant relevance in finance and crypto, which is exactly the profile that attracts institutional buyers rather than collectors.

Deals like this are rarely about the current owner wanting to sell. They start with an owner who has never considered it, and the work is the approach: reaching the right person, through a channel they read, with an offer serious enough to be worth their time.

JF, founder of @crypto

Slang for money, acquired by an operator who already holds a major handle.

The buyer here already owned one of the most recognisable handles on the platform. Buyers at that level know precisely what they want and what it is worth, which shortens the negotiation and raises the bar on execution.

Short, memorable, informal: the kind of handle that works as a brand rather than a description. Those tend to have a small number of possible buyers who each value it far above the open market.

X
Private collector

A one word handle on a platform with no official transfer route.

X has no mechanism for handing a username to another person. Nothing moves on chain and there is no transfer button, so in practice the account itself changes hands with every credential, recovery address and linked device that comes with it.

That makes execution the whole job. The order of operations has to be right, control has to be verified before anything is paid, and both sides need a structure that does not depend on one of them simply trusting the other to go first.

Why the list is short

Discretion is part of what clients pay for. Naming a buyer tells the market what they were willing to spend, and naming a seller tells everyone who used to hold an asset worth going after. Most parties on both sides prefer neither.

So the published list is the exception rather than the record. It exists to show the kind of work we do, not the volume of it.

What these have in common

  1. Every one was already owned. None of them were sitting unregistered waiting to be claimed.
  2. The owner was approached, rather than responding to a listing. There was no public sale process.
  3. The handover was structured so neither side had to move first on trust alone.
  4. The terms stayed private, which is why we can name the asset and not the number.
